With only 144 days until the 2009 London Marathon, my training has already commenced. Whilst I'm not fully into any kind of structured training program, this will start 16 weeks before hand, I'm building up ready to commence the plan in January. Basically I'm going to be upping my weekly running to 4 times per week with varying distances. I've run 6.2 miles this week already as follows:
Monday 1st December - 5km - 26.17 mins
Tuesday 2nd December - 5km - 26.08 mins
I'm probably going to rest tonight and do another 5km or 3.1miles on Thursday with a rest Friday, light run on Saturday and a bigger run (maybe 4 or 5 miles) on Sunday.
I'm into new running shoes which appear to be OK and touch wood injury free.
